Greetings and Welcome:
Today I wanted to talk with my people about a subject matter that is kept in the dark and for good reasons. Here is the truth. No one makes good money with just one website in the beginning and those teachers who are egging you to just start one and work on it day and night like a hermit are illumined. There, the cat is out of the bag and there you go. Sit on it and melt your hearts. Now, I can go back to my lazy boy chair and giggle my azz off!
For some of you who are still reading, I know what you are thinking. This is shocking news and so- what do you do when you have one website making or starting to make some money. Answer is you begin another and another and another and another if you like. You have thus far managed to figure out how to drive traffic, else you would not be having another website. Now does that make sense?
Something else you must consider, just as I encourage you to have multiple email responders so should the number of niches shall you have. What that means is, DO NOT put all of your eggs in to one basket. In the winter time when this are slow, the likely hood of your website systems being interrupted because of some upgrade or update is very high- sure your site can go down at anytime, but what usually happens is- the darn system just stops working and what that means to your bank account is no money is being added to your account. This this becomes another reason for having a backup website, waiting in the winds should something occur which would be in the long terms of planning and later implantation.
In the mean while which is today, how do you manage multiple websites? Well there is an easy way and then there is the hard way. Now we can get to the heat of the potato soup.
Now, get this: As YOUR number of websites you manage grow, so do the number of challenges in managing it. Its time to get off the stick and on to the floor cause the tree is doing you no good.
You are a web developer. Some people might called you the super guru! I would rather call you John the smartest guy I know, who is doing this stuff already- knows the importance of having a reliable and efficient tool to manage and maintain those sites.
John, says look. Here are just a few options you can try. Now, I prefer my own options and I currently like working with two five sites at a time. Here we go:
InfiniteWP is a self-hosted solution that allows you to manage an unlimited number of WordPress sites from a single dashboard. It has a range of features, including one-click updates, backups, and security scans, as well as the ability to clone and migrate sites. One of the standout features is the ability to manage multiple users and set permissions, making it ideal for agencies or teams.
MainWP is another self-hosted option that lets you manage multiple WordPress sites from a single dashboard. It offers similar features to InfiniteWP, including one-click updates, backups, and security scans, as well as the ability to clone and migrate sites. One unique feature is the ability to schedule reports, so you can get regular updates on the status of your sites.
ManageWP is a cloud-based solution that allows you to manage multiple WordPress sites from a single dashboard. It offers many of the same features as InfiniteWP and MainWP, including one-click updates, backups, and security scans, as well as the ability to clone and migrate sites. One notable difference is the ability to manage non-WordPress sites, such as those built on Joomla or Drupal.
WP Remote is a cloud-based solution that allows you to manage multiple WordPress sites from a single dashboard. It offers similar features to the other options, including one-click updates, backups, and security scans. One standout feature is the ability to collaborate with team members and clients, making it a good choice for agencies or teams.
These are all great options, but I utilize a tool bar, created for simply allowing me to arrive at my destinations without doing a lot of typing and in doing so- this means less waisted effort. Check out my toolbar products, and I am positive you will agree- its an interesting tool to utilize and work with.
